I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! We ate so much food yesterday that I’m ready for a simple and healthy smoothie bowl this morning.

This smoothie is full of nutrients, antioxidants, omega-3’s, and protein, especially from your hemp seeds!

If you would like to add protein powder to your smoothie, go for it!

Tropical Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 handful spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup frozen fruit (peaches, strawberries, bananas)
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup water (for a more liquid smoothie)

toppings: chia seeds, hemp seeds, shredded coconut, blueberries, strawberries

  1. Blend all ingredients besides toppings until smooth.

  2. Pour into bowl with your toppings and eat immediately.

Place all of your frozen fruit, spinach, ground flaxseed, and liquids into the blender.
